What is Prasso?
Prasso is a private record of your practice, built on a directory of yoga, pilates, movement and meditation studios across the UK and Ireland. You log the classes you go to, and over time the record becomes something worth keeping. The directory exists so that logging is possible; the log is the product.
Does Prasso show class timetables or take bookings?
No, and this is deliberate rather than unfinished. Prasso does not list class schedules and does not take bookings. Each studio page links to that studio’s own website and booking page, which is always the most current source. Prasso is for recording the classes you have taken, not for finding out what is on tonight.
Is my log private?
Yes. Your log is private by default and there is no way to make it public. No studio can see your visits, and nothing you log appears on a public page. Reviews are the one deliberate exception: a review you write is public and attributed, and it is a separate action from logging a visit.
Does it cost anything?
Logging your practice is free, and there is no paid tier for practitioners. Studios can pay for a richer listing, but nothing a studio pays for changes where it appears in search results or how it is ranked.
What are the beads?
Your logged classes are drawn as a mala, a strand of 108 beads, one for each practice. Yoga renders as a circle, pilates and other movement as a soft square, and meditation and sound as a capsule. It is a record of showing up, not a score, and nothing about it is a target you can fail.
What counts as a practice?
Yoga, pilates, other movement such as barre and mobility, and meditation and sound including sound baths, guided meditation, nidra and breathwork. A twenty-minute meditation earns a bead exactly as a ninety-minute class does. How long a session lasted, how hard it was, and what your body did are all things Prasso deliberately does not record.
A studio is missing. Can I add it?
Yes. Use "Suggest a studio", or add it directly from the search results when you are trying to log a visit somewhere we do not have. New studios are reviewed by a person before they appear publicly.
Where does the studio information come from?
From public sources, from studios themselves once they claim a listing, and from corrections people send us. Every listing says how confident we are in what it holds. We do not write descriptions of studios automatically, and we do not publish anything a studio has not said about itself without saying so.
I manage a studio. How do I claim the listing?
Open your studio’s page and use "Claim this listing". Claiming is free. If your email is on the studio’s own domain it is usually approved straight away; otherwise you can prove control of the website by placing a short code on it, or a person will review the claim.
Can I delete my account and my data?
Yes, from your settings, at any time, without asking us. You can also export everything you have logged as a file first. When you delete an account, your personal details go and the record of your own practice goes with them.
